 Různé žánry jsou hrány současně a jakoby jeden proti druhému.\nPř

 Dario Fariello - saxofony\nAntti Virtaranta - kontrabas\nThiébault Imm - 
 kytara\n\nFarantimm is a meeting of three listeners\, who want to challeng
 e and expand the way we play music together.\nWhat is music? What is inter
 play? To which degree can we have harmony in unhomogeneousness?\nDifferent
  genres are played at the same time against each other\, polyrhythm and po
 lyharmony are used as a starting point to build live sound collages.\nAntt
 i Virtaranta's atonal lines are enriched by amplified collateral contrabas
 s sounds that contribute rhythmically to the trio's instant compositions.\
 nThiébault Imm uses feedbacks and prepared amplified guitar to access a d
 imension between acoustic and electric that is not necessarily loud\, but 
 can magnify small subtleties and nuances. His guitar can sound like a bass
 \, a bird\, or get some qualities of bowed low-pitched instruments\, like 
 cello or double bass.\nDario Fariello's saxophone melodies are played skip
 ping forward and backward\, melted together\, contaminated with small nois
 es in order to obtain musical neologisms. Phrases are multi-narrative\, so
 mehow cubist\, continuing on different levels\, telling different stories 
 at the same time\, and different moments of the same story at the same tim
 e.\nFarantimm is a provocation:\nlooking at music and band clichés throug
 h the deforming mirror of irony seems the only way to touch the real meani
 ng behind it: what is music? what is a band?\nCan independent musical laye
 rs inform each other on a different\, indirect level? Can contrast be harm
